The Armory Youth Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2016 and operational since 2017. We provide FREE, year-round, out-of-school, and summer programming for youth in grades 6-12 throughout Manistee County. With over 900 students registered, we focus on addressing critical issues like poverty, mental health and educational underachievement in our community.
Investing in the Armory Youth Project enables us to continue the great work of supporting the youth of Manistee County. Our approach is centered on nurturing the whole individual by offering a variety of classes and sports activities that promote mental and physical health, life skills, and teamwork. Building strong relationships with our youth is at the heart of our mission, helping us mentor them to build confidence, self-awareness, and respect for others.
