A business sponsorship doesn't just fund a program, it fuels confidence, connection and opportunity!

The Armory Youth Project (AYP) is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to providing year-round out-of-school programming for students in grades 6–12. We focus on the whole individual, offering programs in the arts, education, recreation, workforce development, and sports to encourage a healthy mind and body, build life skills, and foster teamwork.

We prioritize building meaningful relationships with our youth so that we earn the right to mentor them. Through this approach, we help students build confidence, self-awareness, and respect for others.

Students are encouraged to develop independence and make their own choices while exploring a wide range of opportunities. These include:

  • Art Wellness, and Creative Expression
  • Recreation: basketball, soccer, pickleball, and golf
  • Life Skills Classes: cooking, car maintenance, money management, and garden club
  • Environmental Education: hiking, nature identification, and outdoor exploration
  • STEM Workshops
  • Summer Day Camps: teen leadership, archery, and sewing
  • Young Life Bible Study

Through these experiences, students build practical skills, discover new interests, and grow in confidence.

In addition to programming, students receive FREE:

  • Daily nutritious snacks and meals
  • Access to trained volunteers and mentors
  • Opportunities for emotional and educational support
  • Transportation via Dial-A-Ride
